Overview
The "Youth SOS" project aimed to empower young leaders by equipping them with lifesaving skills in first aid and water rescue, ultimately enhancing community safety and fostering a culture of responsibility and solidarity. Through this initiative, young adults (18-30 years old) received training, enabling them to take on leadership roles in youth work and respond effectively to emergencies. By doing so, the project contributed to reducing risks, strengthening community bonds, and ensuring safety in group activities.
The trained individuals served as role models, encouraging broader participation in community safety programs. The project primarily targeted youth interested in leadership, youth work, and active citizenship, ensuring a diverse group that represented the community’s fabric. With workshops led by professionals, "Youth SOS" ensured a structured, practical, and impactful approach to training. By providing essential safety skills, the initiative strengthened community resilience, youth empowerment, and collective responsibility, fostering a safer and more engaged society.
