HEAT
ESC Project
Santa Venera, Malta
Overview
The H-EAT ESC project aimed to teach healthy eating habits and the preparation of nourishing meals through cooking classes for youth. The initiative believed this would encourage young people to make healthier food choices and take responsibility for their own health. By providing a learning environment, the program sought to nurture a community that promotes health and well-being.
The initiative also provided young people with the education and experience needed to make informed decisions about their own health. This was especially relevant given the European Union's commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and the general well-being of its citizens. The EU recognized the importance of addressing health and nutrition concerns and enacted laws and programs to support healthier lifestyles. The H-EAT approach aligned with these values and contributed to the EU's overall health and well-being objectives.
